Patricia Racette’s masterclass was brilliant and my USC Thornton DMA USC Chamber Opera collaborator Barry Tan was so sensitive and supportive at the piano, allowing the artists to shine - as was Hadley McCarroll for the Tier II masterclass.
I had fun working with the emerging professionals masterclass and know they will all go far! What voices!
Adjudicating with my dear teacher Elizabeth Hynes, José Luis Moscovich, Jim, and Frederica von Stade today will be icing on the cake!
